Sue Bryson - Artist 

After a career at sea, Sue returned to her first passion of art, particularly portraiture. 

Having initially completed a Diploma in Art and Design at Falmouth University, Sue concentrated on the more traditional aspects of figurative oil painting. Pursuing her training in these atelier skills she has been inspired by artist mentors and workshops in Florence and nearer home in the South west.  Enjoying the psychological aspects of portraiture,  Sue has also been developing her practice by including more narrative dimensions via interiors and perspective studies.  Exploring these broader aspects of art and draughtsmanship has led to opportunities in other mediums such as ink and charcoal.
